The team at Garden Oaks Dental centre wants to welcome our patients back into our care! We assure our patients that our team is equipped to protect our patients while they are receiving treatment in our office. We are enforcing strict sterilization protocols and our team has received COVID-19 prevention training to enforce strict policies and have adequate PPE in place. Our office requires all patients to have pre-screening completed before their appointment and their temperatures will be taken upon arrival using a touchless infrared thermometer. Masks are required to be worn as well as sanitizing at the door. The cutting-edge technology belonging to the DEFENDER Aerosol Evacuator System assists in the reduction of airborne viruses spreading within a specific area or room. This is done through a three-stage HEPA filtration system along with a high-power suction system that evacuates viruses, bacteria, dust, and aerosol. The DEFENDER eliminates 99.97% of all particulate matter and is then filtered through a UV-C disinfection before being exhausted out.
This system is used chair side to capture the aerosol that is created when a patient is receiving a dental treatment. It is able to provide the protection necessary for patients and staff as well as prevent the spread of airbone particles.
